Abstract

Probiotics can have beneficial effects on the digestion and absorption of food by improving the intestinal microbial balance of fish. Today, with the increase in the number of sturgeon farms in the country, special attention should be paid to increasing the growth and safety of these fish. In order to determine the effectiveness of specific probiotics, 144 Acipencer stellatus in the Juvenile stage with an average weight of 64.9 grams with amounts of 0.150, 300 and 450 mg of specific probiotics (per kilogram of food consumed) for eight weeks in 500liter fiberglass tanks (12 fish in each tank) were fed. The results indicated the more appropriate effectiveness of using 300 mg of probiotics in food to improve the growth process and improve the level of Acipencer stellatus immunity. Based on this, it can be emphasized that the use of specific probiotics in the food used in aquaculture can be effective in the profitability of breeders, disease prevention, and as a result, the prosperity of the sturgeon farming industry in the country.
